The Mott-Warsh Collection Research Library
The research library at the Mott-Warsh Collection is a local resource for materials related to the artists, culture, and history of the African diaspora and content that reflects on it. Containing over six hundred titles, the research library supports the research activities of the Mott-Warsh Collection staff, independent researchers, artists, and students. Included in the library are monographs on MWC artists, exhibition catalogs, auction catalogs, and journals with subject concentrations in African American art. The library also houses archives of artist- and gallery-related ephemera, including interviews, show announcements, and news clippings. Select materials can be viewed and accessed in the new Herman E. Warsh Reading Room inside MW Gallery, which will be opening to the public soon. The MWCRL is non-circulating and will be accessible during MW Gallery's regular business hours.
